Pixee Medical news
Pixee Medical is proud to announce that its Knee+ AR Computer Assisted Orthopedic solution received 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration.
Following a CE mark and first worldwide augmented Total Knee Arthroplasty surgery last year, the approval is opening the US market and will accelerate the excellent sales momentum observed in Europe and Australia since January.
Pixee plans to start surgeries as soon as possible in the US with Digitally Augmented Surgeons
This is not an announcement for the first surgery in Australia but for the first 13 Knee+ surgeries!
We would like to thank Simon Talbot from Warringal Private Hospital and his team for the first Knee+ patients in Melbourne.
Congratulations to Andy Turner our distributor from MatOrtho Ltd who trained on our easy-to-use solution only through virtual online training due to the health crisis.
Pixee Medical is growing fast!
Only one year after performing a first surgery with Pr Rémy Nizard at Lariboisière Hospital in Paris and six months after our commercial launch, we are proud to share our first milestones.
Thanks for supporting our vision!
Pixee Medical is proud to extend its business in the UK!
We are now ready to perform the first surgeries soon in the Great Britain and Ireland with our distributors.
An opportunity to highlight two people involved in this project with Lucie Pécheur, in charge of the regulatory aspects and Cécile IMBERT our Operations Director to manage the commercial launch.
Both are graduates of ISIFC, our Biomedical Engineering School in Besançon!
Thanks to Pr Christophe Hulet from the CHU de Caen Normandie for sharing his experience: “Augmented Reality for Total Knee surgery using the Pixee Medical innovation is a great step forward for patient specific surgeries. I also see a real potential for Artificial Intelligence applications.”
Pr Hulet wants to use Knee+ regularly in order to train his residents on this technology.
