Consists of a single strand of fiber where the diameter is greater than 100 µm. These materials are typically oriented to enhance mechanical properites, dimensional stability or flexibility, and have been used in a range of medical applications.

These constructs are made up of multiple strands of fiber knitted into particular patterns. These materials have been known to be used in medical devices for hernia repair.

Lactide-based copolymers for various applications, including extruded articles, fiber extrusion, textiles, molded applications, and 3D Printing. Our Lactoprene® copolymers exhibit lower amounts of acid forming units and increased flexibility, as opposed to typical lactide-based homopolymers.

Glycolide-based copolymers for various applications, including extruded articles, fiber extrusion, textiles, molded applications, and 3D Printing. This polymer family provides similar performance to PGLA polymers, but with improved strength retention.

Fiber size can be highly controlled to produced uniform populations of fibers on the micron and submicron size-scales.
