All fresh frozen tissue samples are collected under IRB approval by certified medical pathologists.

All formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue specimens are collected under IRB approval by certified medical pathologists. Tissues are fixed in 10% Neutral-Buffered Formalin (NBF) within 30 to 60 minutes of surgery excision.

ProteoGenex offers a Full FDA Panel of high quality normal tissues for antibody cross-reactivity studies: Male and female panels. Fresh frozen (~0.5 – 1 g) and FFPE (1 x 1 x 0.3cm) tissues. Clinical data provided for each tissue. Age, gender, ethnicity, date of collection/surgery, PMI, etc. Full or partial panels. Custom collection of tissues from post mortem sources or NAT to benign/cancer conditions.
