EpiTem - Reconstructed Human Skin Equivalent
EpiTem is reconstructed human epidermis model by culturing human keratinocytes on a chemically defined medium. EpiTem is highly differentiated, where all four epidermal layers can be clearly seen and the OECD TG439. qualifies. As an alternative to animal testing, EpiTem can be used for testing cosmetic ingredients, pharmaceuticals and skin research testing. EpiTem also has epidermis models reflecting race differences, and customized models are available based on a customer’s requests.

Invivo - Gel
First, INVIVO GEL provides a degree of freedom to tune the elastic modulus (or stiffness) according to user’s specific needs by changing concentration of INVIVO GEL (GELMA) and Gel-linker (A), a photo initiator. Also, by changing UV light (365㎚) exposure time, degree of cross-linking can be adjusted. Second, special INVIVO GEL formulation mimics extracellular environment and excellent growth factor (VEGF A, TGF-β1, BMP-2, or GF of your choice) retention capability allows precise control of the extracelluar environment to the specific needs of your research.
