The standard Serres Suction Bags are ideal for basic everyday use. Serres suction bags are designed for the highest safety and hygiene. That’s why the Serres suction bag system is a closed system that eliminates contact with aspirated blood and fluids. Secure closing makes sure no spillage or leakage occurs. Serres suction bags also include a patented single connection system to prevent misconnection. The error-free connection is easy to learn and use, minimizing the risk of error or accident. All Serres suction bags are equipped with hydrophobic filters that serve as a combined bacterial filter and overflow protection. Overflow filters also block foam from entering the bag and is not sensitive to sudden movements that could stop suction in case a mechanical filter were used. All standard bags are available in three sizes: 1L, 2L and 3L.

Folded suction bags for faster installation. Serres folded bags offer a faster and more convenient way to install suctions bags inside cannisters. No wonder, nurses around the world have chosen the Serres folded bag for its ease of use and reliability. Because the tail end of the bag is narrow and folded, you can even install a Serres folded bag with just one hand. Once the bag is in the canister, it can be inflated with a vacuum just like a standard bag. The tapes holding the folds in place are cut during inflating, so there is no need to open them manually. All Serres Suction Bags feature a unique tracking ID for full traceability and verification of manufacturing details. Folded Serres Suction Bags are available in two sizes: 2L and 3L.

Designed for single-use Serres suction bags, Serres canisters are reusable, require minimal replacement and can handle the most demanding care challenges. The 2000 ml and 3000 ml canisters are round-shaped. Compact oval-shaped 1000 ml canisters are ideal for ambulances, anesthesia machines, intensive care units and neonates units. In addition to transparent canisters Serres offers blue canisters that ensure the comfort of patients and families in sensitive circumstances. All Serres canisters have a wide, certified scale that is easy to read from all directions. The accuracy of the volume read is +/- 100 ml. Reusable canisters are certified as measuring devices (Class Im) and can be autoclaved in 121C. The canisters also feature built-in brackets for easy mounting on walls, rail supports, beds and trolleys. With adapters, you can attach Serres canisters to existing 3rd party brackets without time consuming mounting work.

The Serres Solidifying agent was developed for safe, compliant, and cost-effective transport and management of surgical fluid waste. The Solidifying agent is packed in small 25 or 15g dissolving sachets. Sachets can be added into a suction bag through the serial port before or after the suction procedure. Dissolving sachets are also used for the collection of urine in small containers.

Expand the capacity with serial connection. Serres Suction Bags are easily connected in a serial chain, providing the biggest suction capacity in market. Especially in procedures that involve large volumes of suctioned liquid such as orthopedic surgery, the amount of suctioned fluids can be more than tens of litres. In a serial connection, you can connect up to 6 canisters into one chain. When using 3L canisters in two levels, the maximum collection capacity is 36 litres on one trolley. In serial connection, serial tubes are used to connect the suction bags, while canisters are connected with vacuum tubing. You can connect up to 6 canisters into one chain. Thanks to outstanding product compatibility, all Serres Suction bags can be used either in single or serial connections. Also, it is possible to connect different size of canisters in serial connection in one trolley.

Our disposable measuring cup is ideal for measuring small liquid volumes. The cup is conveniently attached to the suction bag lid, and the liquid is suctioned into the cup for measurement. Emptying the cup is also easy during a procedure without disconnecting any tubes. Measuring tolerance is 5ml up to 50ml and 10ml over this. Measuring scale up to 250ml and full capacity is 400ml.

The vacuum shift is used to shift the vacuum between two suction lines or for the simultaneous use of two suction bag systems. The suction canisters can also be easily connected on each side in a serial chain. Two independent suction lines allow you to use one line and prepare the other one for use without interruption in suction. To change the used suction line just turn the lever of vacuum shift. Vacuum shift can be connected on top of the trolley or in any Serres suction canister bracket.

Serres catheter holder holds up to 5-7 catheters and can be placed ergonomically within hands reach. It can be sterilized in hight temperature (121 celcius) steam and it fits all Serres brackets and holders.

Serres collection pouch valve allows liquid, but not air, to pass through from the collection pouch ensuring effective suction at the surgical cavity even if two suction tubes are connected to the same suction bag. It also eliminates noise created by air flow passing through the suction tube.
