Basda - 1.5 Open Superconductive Tesla No Helium Superconducting MRI Scanner
This is the first helium liquid free MRI developped in China. Recently, Basda has announced the launch of the helium-free 1.5T superconducting MR that helps solve the problem of global liquid helium shortage. Generally, a conventional 1.5T superconducting MRI requires nearly 1,000 Liter of liquid helium to operate normally. Our product hence becomes China`s first MR system to enable helium-free operations, reducing the chance of potentially lengthy, costly, and even deadly disruptions, and virtually eliminating the dependency on a commodity with an unpredictable supply.
