The Capnoxygen® mask is an oxygen mask with breath to breath monitoring for non-intubated patients. It allows sampling of exhaled carbon dioxide from both the mouth and nose while at the same time administering oxygen. Not made with natural rubber latex, the mask is soft and allows form-fitting comfort for the face. It is available in three sizes; standard adult, adult ophthalmic with a lower profile on the bridge of the nose, as well as a pediatric size.

The Southmedic MDI Adaptor is an Adult Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) Adaptor for use with the new MDI with dose counters as well as traditional MDI canisters. The SMDIA-1000 can remain in line with the breathing circuit as directed by physician and/or hospital protocol. It is compatible with both plastic and metal canister stems. Arrows clearly mark the direction of flow. It is equipped with a tethered plug to seal the breathing circuit when no MDI canister is in place.

During exhalation, although exhaled carbon dioxide escapes through the mask openings, it is also sampled through the diffuser cup. The cup is attached to a sampling line that can be connected to a side stream monitor to obtain EtCO2 readings. It is available in three sizes; standard adult, plus and kid.

The Southmedic Endotracheal Tube Protector, or Bite Block, is designed to fit multiple sizes of endotracheal tubes (ET Tubes). An ET Tube is a catheter inserted into the trachea through the mouth or nose used to maintain an open air passage to deliver oxygen or permit suctioning of mucus or to prevent aspiration of the stomach contents. Southmedic Bite Block is made from a non PVC environmentally friendly material that is soft enough to protect teeth and yet extremely durable to protect the ET Tube. Attached to the Bite Block is a slip-security ring that fits over the standard ET Tube 15 mm adaptor. This, along with an adjustable tie-wrap ensures the Bite Block stays in place.
