Understand Standard Projections: Allows physicians beginning their endovascular practice, to learn, practice and gain confidence in the fundamental understanding of c-arm manipulation and projections, in a self-directed and interactively challenging simulator setting. The tasks focus on standard views relevant for various endovascular interventions (Neurovascular, Cardiovascular, Peripheral, etc.), radiation safety as well as full procedure steps to follow with the c-arm operation.

The Endovascular Basic Skills module allows physicians, beginning their endovascular practice, to learn, practice, and gain confidence in fundamental endovascular wire-catheter and imaging skills, in a self-directed and interactively challenging simulator setting, in both non-anatomic model and anatomical vascular model environment. The module cases are set in game-like environments and allow training in a user-friendly, enjoyable and safe setting. The module also provides practice of procedure-specific techniques, such as bifurcation crossover technique, reversed cannulation of an aortic branch, and stent-graft contralateral gate cannulation.

The Hip Diagnostics module offers a didactic tool for orthopedic surgeons who are interested in specializing in hip arthroscopy. This module contains examination tasks in the central compartment of a healthy hip joint for acquiring basic orientation and diagnostic probing skills, and for practicing a systematic examination using common portals. In addition, the module includes several pathological cases for implementing the acquired diagnostic skills and identifying different pathologies.

This module provides a complete training curriculum for shoulder arthroscopy in both the Glenohumeral joint and the Subacromial space.

Designated basic skill tasks help optimize the learning curve of novice users while acquiring and integrating bronchoscopic capabilities such as scope control, 3D cognitive perception, detailed anatomical knowledge and safe and efficient performance. This module was developed in conjunction with and endorsed by the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (AABIP).
