Synecco’s customer tasked us with developing a means of adding value to their generic drug offering. Synecco developed the PharmaTel device in conjunction with NUIG. At the core of the device is a film with a printed circuit that records individual blister cell breaches. The blister plugs into a smart lid which displays key data locally as well as transmitting it to a secure network.

Delivering a long stent into the vasculature (in rare cases up to 300mm in length) requires a huge amount of individual actuations with the thumb, subsequently, there is a real risk of repetitive strain injury (RSI) developing.
