Each foam`s plot moves independently: the mattress contours to the patient and reduces clearly the shear forces. The air channels between the plots enhance the air circulation, avoid heat to built up und reduce moisture. Large surface of plots : allowing to maximise the contact surface between the patient and the support thus to decrease the Max. pressures on area at risk. The Syst`am® high resiliency foam is moulded and of high density (40 kg/m3, medical grade) offering great comfort and very large flexibility. Its physical features (elasticity, weight bearing capacity) ensure great resistance against sagging and avoiding therewith the bottoming effects.

Viscoelastic polyurethane gel with strong cross-linking: avoids any migration of the gel, thus preventing any phenomenon of punching of the material next to the bony prominences. Waterproof material on the surface and therefore suitable for incontinence. Available in standard or drilled version.

Viscoelastic memory foam mattress topper: ensures precise and gentle molding of the body, increasing the body surface in contact with the mattress, for better distribution.

Hollowed out heel area for release of support & protection against friction. Achilles tendon protected by recess and lateral reinforcements (direct the supports towards the retromalleoli, areas at lower risk). In solidarity with the foot in all situations (removes the effects of friction). Side edges of the foot hollowed out to transfer support to surrounding areas with less prevalence. Supplied with protective cover, and therefore suitable for multi-patient use.
