The system receives images from modalities or from other sources (i.e. Teleradiology) via DICOM and stores these on the PACS Server or attached storage device. The studies can then be viewed, reported and manipulated by the Voyager Diagnostic workstations connected to the PACS server via LAN, WAN or Internet connection. Voyager Integrator provides seamless interfacing to the Radiology Information System (RIS) via HL7 allowing information to be shared and exchanged between the Voyager PACS and the RIS.

Voyager Referrer Portal gives your referrers immediate online access to images and reports for patients that they have referred to you. They can choose between a modern Zero-Install browser viewer, mobile app, or a full diagnostic web based Windows/Mac viewer.

Image and Report distribution to Referring Clinicians and Specialists is the overarching requirement for the finalisation of the diagnostic process. Voyager Imaging provides several mechanisms for the provision of reports and image delivery.

The Voyager Single Radiologist PACS consists of a Diagnostic Workstation and a Web Server usually combined on the same hardware. The workstation can be configured to store studies either on its local disk or on external RAID for extended image storage capacity.
