We develop and produce sensor assemblies with our own sensors as well as 3rd party sensors. We have numerous years of experience and specific know-how to die attach, wire bond, encapsulate, steer and compensate the sensor. One of our own sensors is the non-glass pH sensor: ISFET (Ion Sensitive Field Effect Transistor). It is robust and does not require wet storage. It is of no surprise that we manufacture sensor assemblies for partners in environmental and industrial applications where varying wet / dry conditions or other physical conditions, such as pressure, that make conventional glass pH electrodes ill-suited. An OEM pH sensor module typically consists of sub-assemblies containing the ISFET sensor, custom reference electrode, control electronics and housing parts. Some examples are sensor assemblies for products for food optimization by using a rumen pH bolus, esophageal acid reflux measurements, and intestinal pH monitoring by smart pills.
Sentron - Medical pH Sensors
Sentron produces a non-glass ISFET pH sensor with no equal. They are the sensor of choice for pH measurement requiring the highest level performance and / or small size. Sentron’s ISFET pH sensor are uniquely suited for medical applications. In fact, Sentron’s ISFET pH sensor is the only ISFET pH sensor used in FDA and CE approved medical devices. They are also ideal for food applications, since they are glass free and can be fitted in probes with a small profile that minimize damage to produce. They are also applied in many environmental and industrial situations where varying wet / dry conditions or other physical conditions such as pressure make conventional glass pH electrondes ill suited.
