Digital technologies and modern materials help create an exact reproduction of natural teeth. Do you need dental restorations – such as a crown or bridge? Then you certainly want them indistinguishable from your natural teeth. Furthermore, they should be biocompatible and long-lasting. This desire is easy to fulfill thanks to tooth-colored ceramic materials that are fabricated utilizing computer-aided (CAD/CAM) technology. These new procedures and materials are replacing traditional techniques where metals were cast into the desired shape and then coated with tooth-colored material. Computer-aided manufacturing can be used not only for the processing of ceramic restorations, it can also be used to create a variety of dental appliances such as bite splints.

Dental colour measurement made easy – fast, accurate and reliable; The patented colour measuring instrument consists of a spectrophotometer controlled by a Linux machine. The spectrophotometer is equipped with LED lighting and for each measured wavelength another LED type is used. If the measuring button is pressed, the light source illuminates the entire spectrum of the visible light at short intervals. The colours are guided along a light conductor which divides into two light conductors and can thus bring together the symmetrical light on the measuring object. The image of the measuring object, illuminated by the coloured light, is then reflected onto a special black and white CCD sensor which is located at the end of the optic.

The scan is the basis of every digitally manufactured restoration. Scanbodies promise the maximum scan accuracy needed. The two-piece Desktop scanbodies for multiple usage are produced with an innovative code system, that enables the automatic recognition of the implant type and prevents application errors.
