Cities 4.0 Conference 2021 - Brochure

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, most urban studies, smart city planning and design encompass a broad theoretical effort, which emphasised advanced approaches in the areas of high technology, smartness and multicultural cities that target well-being and liveability for residents and sustainability. However, the current circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic have demonstrated the need for change in our smart cities development. Many cities do not have sufficient information or effective digital and smart technologies that coud help mitigate the worst impacts of the crisis or prevent another one from happening.
