We are one – and therefore we act as one.

Our code of conduct provides guidance for employees and partners of Mermaid Medical Group and describes the values, rules, and principles that we base our actions and behavior on and that drive our success. The guidelines work as our ethical compass throughout the entire organization and shape our corporate culture.

Supporting local sports

Mermaid Medical supports the local handball club HØJ, not only the senior team but also the younger teams in order to create attractive frames where new talent can develop and people stay healthy.

Health & Happiness
Working within healthcare, it is impossible to not be affected by the consequences that the rise in obesity across the world has on families everywhere. Some of our own products help to combat diseases such as DVT (deep vein thrombosis) and PE (pulmonary embolism).

Mermaid Medical pays for fitness club memberships for all employees to encourage a healthy and happy lifestyle.

We also have a local running club for employees working at headquarters. This is an initiative taken by one of our colleagues to help support colleagues to live a healthy lifestyle.

We Are One Virtual
If you have read about our values, you have probably come across that ‘we are one’. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been able to see each other a lot less than we are used to, and a lot of us had to work from home. It was hard to keep the spirits up. So, two of our colleagues launched a We Are One Virtual. Every month we meet virtually for a quiz, a cocktail making class, an escape room challenge, or the likes just so we can feel that even though we are working in separate countries and separate offices, some of us alone from home, we are still one.

Danish Cancer Society
One in three people will get cancer at some point during their life. Two of three people know or have known a family member suffering from cancer. We have joined the fight against cancer by providing tumor ablation products to help patients and by supporting the Danish Cancer Society with yearly donations.

Danish Hospital Clowns
We want to help save and improve patient lives. Some become patients earlier than others, and we want to help the youngest of the patients by putting a smile on their faces. That’s why we support the Danish Hospital Clowns.
