Damacryl Rapid - Absorbable Suture - Brochure

DAMACRYL RAPID suture is synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture. It is composed of copolymer prepared and synthesized from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide (derived from glycolic and lactic acids). This sutures are braided, violet or undyed and coated with copolymer made of 30% Glycolide and 70% L-lactide, and calcium stearate. DAMACRYL RAPID suture is non-antigenic, non-pyrogenic and elicits only a mild tissue reaction during the absorption process, and is completely absorbed in 40-60 days. The In vitro retention of strength is about 45% in one week.
