Who is Coburn?

Coburn Technologies, Inc. is a leading, global provider of computer-integrated ophthalmic lens processing systems and ophthalmic instruments. We design, manufacture, and service software, equipment and supplies used in all aspects of surfacing prescriptions in lens blanks, coating and finishing lenses to fit into patient frames. We also provide a broad range of diagnostics, refraction and retinal imaging equipment for a more complete solution to the eye care professional.

For over 60 years, we’ve supplied optical labs with products and services that have reinvented existing production methods – products like the Step One™ Blocker, SG8 and Lensmaker generator. Our experts have brought automation to the lens processing lab and have continued to increase our level of sophistication. As a result, labs all over the world produce higher quality lenses with less breakage and higher throughput.

Here at Coburn we make an effort to give back to our community in ways that reflect our company vision. Coburn has worked with many organizations that do good things, including OneSight, Angels for Sight and the Global Eye Project.
