Event Description: The purpose of this forum is to bring together international experts from International health organizations, national health authorities, local diabetic associations, academics, and local, regional and global media to: • Highlight the rising prevalence of diabetes and its complications in the world in general and in the middle east in particular • Discuss the recent issues related to prevention, management and treatment of diabetes. • Develop global and national strategies to reduce the socio-economic burden of diabetes. • Create a network of committed global and regional key opinion leaders to exchange their knowledge and experiences and by this way contribute to overall improvement of patient care.
