  • The feature areas on the show floor are carefully designed to generate minimal amount of waste
  • Our catering contains locally sourced, seasonal and organic ingredients, using minimal packaging and providing a variety of vegetarian options
  • We aim to have all the carpet, signage and paper used at the event is recycled

  • Turn off lights and thermostat when leaving your hotel room
  • If exhibiting, be sure to power down your booth at the end of each show day

Air Quality/CO2 Impact

  • Carpool or take public transport to/from the airport and to/from your hotel. Make new friends and contacts while saving CO2!
  • Take advantage of the free hotel shuttle or even better, walk if possible
  • Offset your travel to/from Battery Show India

Reduce signage waste by:

  • Encourage less printing and provide more information digitally when it comes to booth literature, fulfilling requests via email and website referrals
  • If you must print, create reusable non-dated signs that can be used year after year
  • Avoid foamcore signs and request recyclable material such as cardboard signage

Reduce booth waste by:

  • BYOF! - Avoid carpet and bring your own flooring, like puzzle foam flooring that can be reused at all your shows
  • Break down ALL cardboard boxes and put in the correct recycling bin
  • Request additional booth bins for recycling and compost collection
  • Use only compostable or recyclable serviceware for samples and give-a-ways
  • Use the stickers provided at the Exhibitor Services desk to mark your materials for recycling or donation
  • Set a goal to leave no trace behind by shipping out all booth properties and packing materials and donating extra giveaways.

Electric Cars are Finding Their Next Gear

Electric vehicle (EV) sales in India are expected to cross 9 million units by 2027 and the industry is seen creating more than 10 million direct and 50 million indirect jobs by 2030, says an IVCA-EY-Induslaw report

  • As per NITI AAYOG- Government think tank projects EV sales in India @70% for commercial vehicles, 40% for buses and 80% for 2 and 4 wheelers by 2030.
  • EV Valuation at USD 1.4 Bn in 2021, expected to register registering a CAGR of 47.09% during the FY (2022-2027).
  • The Government has approved the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme `National Programme on Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) Battery Storage` for achieving manufacturing capacity of Fifty (50) Giga Watt Hour (GWh).
  • Enhancing India`s Manufacturing Capabilities with a budgetary outlay of USD 2.3 Bn.
  • Government of India notified the Phased Manufacturing Program (PMP) to promote indigenous manufacturing of EVs and components.
  • The Union Budget for FY23 gave a major emphasis on the sector and increased the fund allocation for the FAME scheme over three-fold to USD 365 Mn.
