IOS Press Continues Impact Factor Growth

Amsterdam, the Netherlands – IOS Press, an independent international publisher of English-language scientific, technical and medical (STM) journals and books, has announced that its journal Impact Factors continue to increase, according to the 2013 Journal Citation Reports® (JCR) released by Thomson Reuters © 2014.

Thirty IOS Press journals are currently included in the JCR, with 50% of titles showing an increase. Particularly noteworthy is Restorative Neurology and Neuroscience, a well-established journal that has achieved an impressive 43% Impact Factor increase. It ranks 67th out of 251 journals in the competitive Neurosciences category.

Other journals experiencing strong Impact Factor growth include: Biorheology (23%), Cancer Biomarkers (22%), International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics (92%), Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation (70%), Journal of Vestibular Research (46%), Journal of X-Ray Science and Technology (34%) and NeuroRehabilitation (23%).
