Reopening Buildings after Coronavirus or Other Emergencies Discussed in New Online Video
Today the IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video. Their newest production discusses some of the indoor environmental quality (IEQ) challenges building owners and managers may face when reopening buildings that were temporarily closed due to COVID-19 orders.
“Not only are cleaning and disinfection procedures going to be essential, there are IEQ issues that will need to be addressed in many instances,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates and the IAQ Video Network. “These include everything from moisture, mold and sewer gas, to possible Legionella concerns in building water systems that were stagnant for weeks. We hope this new video helps to shed some light on some of these important issues.”
This video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that work to protect and enhance the public`s health and safety. Sponsors include EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental and Healthy Indoors Magazine to name a few.
