Review - MEDICA - MedLife and our projects
We were represented at MEDICA, the world`s largest trade fair for the medical industry, with our projects Care and Mobility Innovation and MDR-Support@NRW . In the discussions with interested parties, we were not only able to present and promote the projects, but also to provide information about our activities, our network and our members in the Aachen region.
The very interesting panel talk on the topic "Innovations for citizen-centric health care in rural areas - challenges and potential" on 16.11. at the NRW Stand-Gesundheit#Digital, our colleague Monika Mallau moderated. Many good ideas and suggestions were exchanged, but also what needs to happen so that the supply in rural areas continues to be good and uninterrupted.
You can also watch and listen to the talk and the statements of the participants in full under this YouTube link : Talk citizen -centric- supply in rural areas

At the second NRW state joint stand with a focus on medical technology and research from NRW, we presented the MDR-Support@NRW project . Together with the health regions: Aachen, Münsterland, Ruhrgebiet and South Westphalia, represented by MedLife eV and AME RWTH Aachen, traveling together in Münsterland: Centech, Münsterland Healthcare and Bioanalytik Münster, MedEcon Ruhr GmbH and the South Westphalia industry initiative, we are developing measures, web-based offers and recommendations for action in this project and also set up expert groups to effectively support and bring together companies, start-ups and founders in the introduction and implementation of the relevant regulations (MDR/IVDR) for medical devices. On the last day of MEDICA, NRW Economics Minister Mona Neubauer got an idea of our project.
