Smart Battery Sensor (SBS)

Olfactomics, in collaboration with Kuusakoski, announces the Smart Battery Sensor (SBS), an IoT device designed to detect volatile compounds emitted by leaking batteries and trigger an early warning to prevent thermal runaway.

The SBS integrates Olfactomics' odor-detection capability with IoT connectivity to monitor battery systems and provide real-time alerts.
