Our minimum specification for autoantigen purity is 90%, with 95-99% purity for most AROTEC antigens, achieved through meticulous chromatographic refinement and polishing. AROTEC offers analytical (a few milligrams) to bulk (approaching grams) volumes of protein. Product lots can be reserved for established customers and held under storage in our 24/7 monitored ultra-low temperature freezers, free of charge for up to 2 years.

This is in part due to New Zealand’s geographical and biological isolation along with strict border security and agricultural restrictions, offering disease free status for Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE), Scrapie, foot-and-mouth disease and numerous other significant animal diseases (as recognised by International des Epizooites (OIE) and the USDA-APHIS).

All material sourced for production of human-derived native antigens are sourced from reputable blood donor centres offering full serological testing and traceability back to individual donors.
