The intraocular lens has a total extended diameter of 13.0 mm, which offers variable application options to the physician. Clinical data currently available are not yet sufficient to provide definitive proof of the safety and efficacy of sulcus implantation.
The aberration-free optic makes the ASPIRA®3P-aVA suitable for every patient, regardless of the spherical aberration of the cornea. This makes the contrast sensitivity significantly higher than that of conventional spherical IOLs.
The high-precision production of the IOL optic with an accuracy in the nanometer range lays the foundation for premium quality and produces brilliant, clear, and sharp images.
With its hybrid IOL design, the ASPIRA®3P-aVA optimally combines the positive material properties for optics and haptics. A high level of stability and centering ensures the brilliant imaging properties of the optic.
The modified C-loop haptics made of highly flexible, blue-colored PES (polyethersulfone) ensure optimal IOL centering thanks to high axial stability and radial flexibility. In addition, the fine haptics allow the anterior and posterior capsule membranes to merge for additional stability. The fine C-loop haptic is also suitable for the sensitive sulcus tissue and minimizes irritation due to the small contact area. The optic material made of clinically proven acrylat is characterized by excellent imaging quality. It is completely glistening-free and demonstrates excellent uveal biocompatibility.
Like all HumanOptics products, the ASPIRA®3P-aVA is produced exclusively in Germany according to the strictest quality specifications. As such, it stands for the highest quality with maximum product safety.
