NOVATECH - Model MMB-1000 - Radio Locator

The NOVATECH MMB-1000 is a small form-factor, light weight, self-contained VHF radio locator beacon. A member of the mini beacon line, the MMB-1000 is part of the NOVATECH family of asset recovery devices. The digital circuit controller offers selectable preset frequency channels, along with a range of duty cycle options, resulting in a beacon that can be configured for a range of broadcast specifications. The MMB-1000 has four operational frequencies in the range of 154 MHz to 161 MHz. Powered with Lithium, this miniature recovery aid is designed for long-term ocean deployments (up to five years submerged), with enough power to transmit for up to 20 days once surfaced.
