BioNgraft - Barrier Membrane for Periodontal Surgery
The Biongraft Barrier Membrane is crafted for periodontal restorative surgeries to aid bone and periodontal tissue regeneration. Composed of a synthetic poly(lactic acid) (PLA) polymer known for its biocompatibility and bioresorbability, it features a fully resorbable profile, breaking down within 15-20 weeks post-implantation. This material mitigates any risk of disease transmission by avoiding human or animal tissues. The external membrane surface, made of non-porous PLA, prevents epithelial cell and fibroblast intrusion, while the porous internal layer enhances adhesion and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. It is applicable in procedures like ridge augmentation, sinus lifts, and alveolar bone regeneration, supporting osseous defect remediation without requiring membrane removal due to its complete bioresorption.
Biongraft Barrier Membrane specifically engineered for periodontal restorative surgeries and assists in the regeneration of bone and periodontal support tissues. Fabricated from a biocompatible and bioresorbable medical grade poly(lactic acid) based synthetic polymer with a long history of safe medical use.
