- Filters particulate within blood components down to 18 microns.
- Small priming volume (0.7 cc).
- Stainless steel filter causes less cell lysis than plastic strand filters.
- Electrostatic properties of filter provide exceptional flow.
- Hemo-Tap® spike permits easy access to blood bags without the need for blood administration sets.
- Luer locking hub allows the use of a standard syringe without a needle.
- The Luer tip cap permits a sterile means of transport to the patient.
MICROFILTRATION
The Hemo-Nate® filter is a disposable filter with stainless steel filter media for absolute retention of harmful microaggregates of 18 microns and larger. With the Hemo-Tap® valve, a clinician has quick and easy access to blood bags, and can create multiple aliquots from a single bag of blood.
