VMG - Chirlac Rapid Braided
Chirlac rapid braided is a versatile, short-term absorbable suture designed for a range of medical applications such as gynecology, ophthalmology, odontology, and skin closure. Made from low molecular weight polyglycolic acid, this synthetic multifilament suture features a coating that ensures minimal antigenic and collagenous response, reducing inflammatory reactions in tissues. Available in both violet and natural colors, it undergoes controlled hydrolysis, degrading into glycolic acid that is naturally absorbed by the body. This suture maintains tensile strength briefly, typically up to 12 days, before mass absorption occurs. It's engineered for rapid healing, making it unsuitable for cardiovascular or neurological applications, as well as tissues requiring prolonged support beyond a week. Available in sizes 6/0 to 4 USP, Chirlac rapid braided offers specifications optimized for short-duration tissue support without significant mass loss. Most popular related searches

Chirlac rapid braided is a short-term absorbable, coated, synthetic, multifilament suture made of low molecular weight polyglycolic acid. The substances contained in the coating and suture are nonantigenic and noncollagenous. Chirlac rapid braided is available in violet and natural.
Progressive loss of tensile strength and absorption of Chirlac rapid braided occurs by hydrolysis, where the polymer degrades to glycolic acid, which is subsequently absorbed and metabolised by the body.
Absorption begins as a loss of tensile strength without appreciable loss of mass. The product elicits a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissues.
