- All operations are controlled via the large touch screen.
- This includes start-up and shut-down, run samples, datalog, QC, Reagents.
- Four different operator levels are possible including Lab Manager and Lab Tech.
- Operators are logged at start-up or when a new operator takes over.
Sample Handling :
- Blood samples must be collected in EDTA tubes. Sample sizes :
- Direct mode : 10 µL whole blood
- Pre-diluted / Capillary : 25 µL into 0.5ml of diluent using a built in diluent dispenser
Throughput :
- 60 samples per hour in direct sampling mode
Reagents :
- A compact 3 reagent pack is provided. Packs are coded with lot number and expiry date to give full traceability.
QC
- Six controls levels, 3 months each. Assay values can be entered via the keypad or loaded from a USB key. Automatic calculation of mean, SD and CV% (possible to reject bad samples). Levey Jennings plot per level. It is possible to upload results to USB key for peer to peer analysis.
- The Drew-3 is controlled via a large colour touchscreen.
- The software is designed to make the instrument as easy to use as possible.
- Up to 1000 sample results can be stored on the system and results can be backed up on a USB key (flash disk).
