Vetscan - Model VSpro -Coagulation Analyzer
The VETSCAN VSpro is an easy-to-use coagulation analyzer enabling canine and feline PT (prothrombin time) and aPTT (activated partial thromboplastin time) testing and equine fibrinogen testing. With an incredibly simple and intuitive user interface, it enables you to enhance your clinic’s capabilities and obtain important information on-site within minutes, especially valuable for pre-anesthetic and emergency cases.
Canine/feline coagulation testing
The VETSCAN VSpro provides PT and aPTT results that assist in the pre-anesthetic setting and in the diagnosis of bleeding disorders, toxicity, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatic disease, as well as monitoring therapy and/or disease states.
Equine fibrinogen testing
The VETSCAN VSpro offers rapid fibrinogen testing to help detect and monitor inflammation or injury in horses.
Easy to use
The VETSCAN VSpro has minimal hands-on time with a simple testing procedure. Simply insert cartridge, add the sample and read your results.
Small sample requirement
Only 100 µL of whole blood for a full coagulation panel (canine/feline), and 100 µL of platelet-poor plasma for an equine fibrinogen test.
Low maintenance
The only maintenance requirement for the VETSCAN VSpro is monthly cleaning of the fan filter. Annual calibration is the only additional requirement for fibrinogen users.

Connect with practice information management software (PIMS) and external printers using the USB ports and LAN port and/or the VETSCAN FUSE.*
