This new dental microscope series places particular emphasis on ergonomics and quality. The microscopes are characterized by excellent optics, integrated LED lighting, a modern ergonomic design, ease of use and optimal freedom of movement.
Brilliant images for the visible difference
The Kaps SOM© 4dent 200 delivers sharp, crystal-clear images in natural colors and with high-resolution details. The microscope has a unique manual zoom system in the range of 1:7 and enables flexible magnification adjustment to the current treatment situation. The dentist can quickly and easily switch between the detailed field of view (maximum magnification) and the overview field (largest possible field of view) without any restriction of spatial vision. The double iris diaphragm increases the depth of field and provides even more details in the field of view. The integrated spot illumination ensures that tissue outside the treated area is not unnecessarily stressed. With the orange filter, you can effectively filter out disturbing UV components that can lead to premature curing during treatment with composite fillings.
Integrated fanless LED lighting
The color temperature of the LED lighting is very similar to daylight, has a high light intensity, delivers excellent color rendering and thus ensures fatigue-free working. By integrating the lighting into the microscope, the system completely dispenses with fiber optics. Follow-up costs such as the repair of damaged fiber optics or the replacement of lamps are thus a thing of the past. The lighting system does not cause any disturbing fan noise and generates only little heat despite its high light intensity.
Functional ergonomic working
Equipped with a long support arm, the dentist has a large working area with maximum freedom of movement and unhindered access to the patient. With the optional 45° ergonomic wedge, neck and back pain are optimally prevented. All microscope movements are performed with absolutely minimal effort. Kaps SOM© 4dent 200 is equipped with a balancing device. This enables easy and exact positioning of the microscope in any desired position, even with adapted accessories. Asymmetrical load distributions on the microscope head are compensated and do not affect the ergonomics.
