Septodont BiodentineModel XP 200 -Dentine Restoration System

SHARE
Biodentine XP 200 is an advanced dentine substitute designed to facilitate seamless dentine restoration. The product is engineered to handle various dental indications both in crown and root procedures. For crown applications, it is suitable for temporary enamel restoration, permanent dentin restoration, treating large carious lesions, and pulp capping. In root procedures, it addresses root perforations, resorptions, and retrograde fillings. The system features an all-in-one cartridge with patented Active Biosilicate Technology that ensures high-purity tricalcium silicate for superior bioactivity, biocompatibility, sealing ability, and dentin-like properties. This ensures a consistent mix and minimizes microbiological growth, thanks to its unique formulation of tricalcium silicate, zirconium oxide, and calcium components. The choice of XP 200 or XP 500 volume allows precision in delivering the required amount, enhancing effectiveness and efficiency in dental practices.

The first all-in-one dentine substitute to fully replace dentin, providing an easier and improved daily experience from product preparation to direct placement in the tooth. All Biodentine’s science with the experience you expect:

  • All-in-one cartridge: ready to mix power-liquid cartridge, provides less preparation steps, mix consistency and homogeneity at each use.
  • Choice of volume: thanks to the choice between XP 200 and XP 500, deliver the right amount of dentin substitute.
  • Direct placement: for crown indications, apply directly Biodentine in the cavity from the crown to the top thanks to the gun and the orientable nozzle.
  • Thanks to the patented Active Biosilicate Technology ensuring a high purity of tricalcium silicate, Biodentine XP offers unique features:
  • Bioactivity: Biodentine preserves pulp vitality and can be placed directly on the pulp. Thanks to the formation of hydroxyapatite, mineralization process. Biodentine creates a tight seal within the dentine tubules as well as dentinal bridge.
  • Biocompatibility:  Biodentine can be placed directly on the pulp and living tissues, ensuring no risk of tissue/pulp reaction, thanks to the high purity of tricalcium silicate and the resin-free formula.
  • Sealing ability: Biodentine can replace the dentin both in the crown and in the root and reduces the risk of secondary caries, thanks to the creation of mineral tags in the dentine tubules.
  • Dentin-like properties:  Biodentine have the same mechanical properties than dentin and similar mechanical behaviour than dentine.
  • Limitation of microbiological growth: The alkaline pH limits bacterial growth, helping to decrease post-operative pain and reducing the risk of secondary decays.
