Light Line’s platform visible light PhotoDisinfection™ technology (System) prevents infections arising from dialysis, urinary, respiratory, and vascular catheters, and has no antibiotic resistance.

Without relying on drugs, chemicals, or harmful UV light, Light Line’s System uses 405nm visible light (i.e., violet/blue light that the naked eye can see) to prevent infections. The light is emitted through a fiber optic cable placed inside the catheter. This disinfects and protects the inside and outside of catheters, killing microbes.

Light Line’s visible light technology is addressing invasive catheter infections - one of the leading causes of patient morbidity.
