XstrahlModel Radiant™ Aura -Dual Modality Treatment System

SHARE

Radiant Aura is a dual-modality radiation therapy system, designed to provide non-surgical treatment options for dermatological practices, specifically targeting non-melanoma skin cancers and keloid scarring. The system is compact and can be easily moved around a clinic, avoiding the need for costly room modifications. Operating at low energy levels, it allows for minimal shielding, reducing startup and maintenance costs. The system is intended for areas that are difficult to access, such as the head and neck. Radiant Aura supports the administration of superficial radiation therapy, offering an alternative to Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. The XBeam software integrated with the system facilitates protocol calculations and therapy planning, thus simplifying workflow and enhancing the efficiency of treatment delivery. This makes it an attractive addition to busy dermatology practices looking to expand their treatment capabilities cost-effectively.

Bring Radiation Therapy into Any Dermatology Office

Radiant Aura was designed to be moved around the clinic and doesn’t require expensive room installations or modifications. The unit’s small footprint accommodates a busy treatment room. Its low energy and short exposure times require less shielding compared to higher energy systems, which means start-up and maintenance costs are within reach to easily expand your dermatology practice.

Non-Surgical Treatments for Skin Cancer

Traditionally, skin cancer is treated with Mohs surgery. Radiant Aura allows non-surgical, superficial radiation therapy to be delivered in the dermatologist’s office for basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma when surgery is not an option.

Calculate and Run Protocols using XBeam

If you need to calculate and run protocols and export therapy plans for exposures, we have made this easy to do with all of Xstrahl’s clinical systems. Once you specify the depth dose data and dose rate information, an optional software tool (XBeam) calculates the base for exposure. The resulting protocol shows all relevant information for planning, significantly simplifying the standard workflow.
