DYSIS - Proprietary Accessories
Proprietary accessories are available to complement the DYSIS Colposcope. Disposable specula are custom designed to provide an optimised field of view and image stability while the Treatment Pipe quickly converts the speculum from diagnostic to treatment without the need to remove and replace.
Acetic Acid Kits:
In order to keep the DYSIS acetic acid delivery system in good working order, it is recommended that the components exposed to the acid are replaced each month. The DYSIS Acetic Acid Kits are available to order and the version that you require will depend on which DYSIS Colposcope you use. Please contact us for advice here.
Disposable Specula:
The DYSIS disposable specula are manufactured in the Cusco style from high quality bio-compatible plastic for one-time use. The specula has been designed for easy, single-handed operation with safety in mind and is delivered in a sterile pouch. Please see the table below for size and ordering information.
Treatment Pipe:
The DYSIS disposable specula can quickly and easily be converted to a treatment specula by using a DYSIS Treatment Pipe. This attachment can be quickly and easily added to the speculum in situ and therefore avoids the need to replace a diagnostic speculum for a treatment speculum.
