DIAGNOMATIC - Model Pro-MAM ACR -Full Field Mammography Phantom
The Pro-MAM ACR Full Field (FF) mammography phantom is an ACR-approved tool designed to assess the performance of digital mammographic systems. Unlike its predecessor, the Pro-MAM ACR phantom, this full field version is larger, allowing it to cover the entire image detector to minimize scatter. It evaluates system capabilities in imaging small clinical structures, such as micro-calcifications, fibrous structures, and tumor-like masses. The phantom serves a vital role in ensuring that mammographic systems deliver accurate and reliable imaging for early detection and diagnosis in clinical settings. Its adaptable technical specifications can be tailored to meet individual customer requirements, making it a versatile choice for performance testing. The device aids in maintaining rigorous quality assurance standards, ultimately enhancing the diagnostic efficacy and patient care in mammographic examinations.
This ACR approved Full Field phantom was designed to test the performance of a digital mammographic system by evaluating the system’s ability to image small structures similar to those found clinically: micro-calcifications, fibrous structures in ducts and tumor-like masses. It is similar to the Pro-MAM ACR phantom, the main difference being the size: the FF (Full Field) version is larger and covers the entire image detector, thus eliminating scatter.
