Low Wear and Friction

Many drug delivery devices like inhalers and injection devices contain moving parts. As these parts move, they must effectively slide against other parts. For improved patient‘s comfort and safety, the devices must function smoothly with a low coefficient of friction, low activation force and low noise or wear. This performance has to be achieved in complex design environments including movements against different types of materials, operating across a range of temperatures and chemical environments and with a range of speeds and forces in operation.
