Promed - Model A500 -Medical Waste Sterilization System
The Promed A500 is a medical waste sterilization system designed for efficient use in large hospitals and industrial sterilization facilities. Built to comply with EU Directives and certified by TUV Austria, it operates at a capacity of 500 kg/h, integrating multiple stages of sterilization including shredding, microwave treatment, and steam injection. The system features an anti-blocking shredder capable of processing hard materials such as surgical tools and ceramics. It utilizes a combination of saturated steam and precise temperature control, reaching between 134°C and 138°C, to achieve a decontamination level reduced by a factor of 8 Log 10. The sequence ends with cooling and draining processes that ensure the sterile byproducts are safely disposed of into sewage systems. The design enhances throughput with simultaneous shredding and sterilization, optimizing large-scale medical waste management.We are Design and production certified by TUV Austria.
