The MRS*DRYMAG 9.4T is a cutting-edge, cryogen-free MRI scanner designed for preclinical imaging of animals up to 3 kg. Utilizing proprietary Dry Magnet technology, this system does not require liquid helium or nitrogen for cooling, making installation achievable even in biosafety labs with minimal site preparation. Its compact design weighs merely 700 kg compared to conventional wet magnets which can weigh up to 5 tons, easing the logistics of setting up advanced research facilities. Notably, the scanner features a rampable magnet that can adjust field strengths from 0.5T to 9.4T within minutes, making it versatile for a wide range of studies such as translational imaging, contrast agent development, and ex-vivo research. Additionally, the integration of the MRS*PET INSERT facilitates simultaneous PET/MR imaging, offering comprehensive multi-parametric data acquisition. The accompanying Preclinical Scan software further enhances the utility of the system, providing a user-friendly, multimodal interface that supports MRI, PET, SPECT, and CT functionalities.
