Gkteso - Ophtalmology Eye Surgery Bed
The Ophthalmology Eye Surgery Bed is a precision-engineered patient positioning system specifically developed for ophthalmic laser procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and SMILE. With ultra-smooth, vibration-free motion control and joystick-controlled fine adjustment (0.02 mm (20 microns) lateral/longitudinal; 0.05 mm vertical), it enables millimeter-accurate alignment while maximizing patient comfort during extended treatments. Designed for seamless integration with leading ophthalmic laser platforms, the system supports consistent workflows, increases surgical precision, and contributes to improved clinical outcomes in refractive eye surgery.
Precise alignment is critical in ophthalmic LASER surgery. Yet traditional surgery beds often lack the motion control and stability needed for today’s high-resolution LASER systems. The following challenges illustrate why conventional beds limit surgical accuracy and workflow performance:
Manual adjustments or coarse motor drives prevent submillimeter positioning accuracy, increasing the risk of misalignment during LASER treatment.
Even slight vibration can interfere with beam stability and LASER tracking, reducing treatment quality in high-frequency systems.
Most beds lack integrated interfaces for digital or analog interlock communication, making integration with OEM LASER platforms time-consuming.
High entry height or uncomfortable positioning can stress both patient and surgeon, especially in longer SMILE or PRK procedures.
The Eye Surgery Bed solves these challenges with motorized, ultra-precise motion control and integrated OEM connectivity. It supports smooth positioning, automatic OD/OS switching, and ergonomic comfort for all refractive LASER procedures.
