IGEA Biostim - Orthopaedic Therapy

Biostim® Therapy can be hired or purchased exclusively from IGEA S.p.A. The device will be customised to each individual patient’s needs, so it is not available on other websites, in healthcare facilities, from orthopaedic clinics or pharmacies.

• NO CONTRAINDICATIONS OR SIDE EFFECTS : The therapy is well tolerated by patients, it is safe and the focused signal acts only on the treatment site.
• CAN BE USED WITH PLASTER CAST/BRACE : The presence of plaster or other types of immobilization does not obstruct the signal.
• CAN BE USED IN THE PRESENCE OF INTERNAL FIXATION : The presence of synthesis media (e.g. screws, plates) does not affect the effectiveness of the signal.
• EASY TO USE : The device is manageable with a single button. The treatment parameters are preset according to the site and the pathology to be treated.

1. Fully charge the device battery before use.
2. Place the applied part (coil) on the site to be treated and secure it with the strap supplied.
3. Where there are double coil, place them on the opposite sides of the fracture, with the green part facing inwards and the cables coming from the same part.
4. To start the therapy, turn on the device by pressing the button for about two seconds. The signal delivery starts automatically.

The signal frequencies are imperceptible and it is normal not to feel any sensation during treatment.
