Vygon - Model 181.03 -Pencil Point Spinal Needle

Whitacre pencil point spinal needle for spinal anaesthesia with transparent hub and stylet. The hub of the stylet is colour-coded according to the diameter of the needle. The hub of the needle is transparent to visualise CSF reflux and its ergonomic design ensures easy handling. The stylet is designed to allow rapid reflux of CSF. The lug on the hub of the stylet indicates the position of the distal eye. The lug also helps to easily reposition the stylet in the needle, if dural puncture fails. Some needles are supplied with an introducer (codes 181.xx except code 181.07). The spinal needle is inserted through this introducer to reduce the risks of kinking of the thin spinal needle. Codes 181.07 and 5181.xx/.xxx are without an introducer.
