Southland Sensing -Â Model MED-19 -Handheld Portable Percent Oxygen Monitor, CE
The MED-19 portable oxygen monitor combines a rugged ABS enclosure and an advanced set of electronic features including a smart MENU interface with our industry leading precision electrochemical oxygen sensor technology. The result is a highly reliable and cost effective design with easy-to-use user interface. The unit is specifically designed to safely and easily verify oxygen and other medical gases used in the medical and veterinary clinics. The unit comes with a 0 – 100% oxygen concentration full scale measurement range.
- Enclosure: ABS; Portable
- Range: 0 – 100%
- Resolution: 0.01%
- Input Power: 3-AAA Batteries
- Alarms: Integral & Adjustable
The oxygen sensor is based on the galvanic electrochemical fuel cell principal and is manufactured in house under a strict quality procedure. The sensors are long life, self contained and minimal maintenance is required – no need to clean electrodes or add electrolyte. The precision sensors offer excellent performance, accuracy and stability while maximizing the expected life. The sensor is external with a 12 foot (fully extended) coiled cable.
The electronics are feature packed with an easy-to-use menu interface and many additional safety features built in. Power is supplied via battery power (3-AAA batteries) with an estimated life of approximately 1000 hours. Two local alarms are ran through a loud integral audible alarm as well as local warning LED indicators with a silence button; alarms are configurable as High / Low and can be set from 15% – 100%.
The monitor offers one of the smallest footprints in the field with a durable molded ABS.
Designed to measure percent oxygen in a rugged portable design. The compact monitor with its remote sensor and integral audible alarms (High / Low) is designed with the customer in mind, to provide a low maintenance, easy and economical way to accurately verify percent oxygen levels. The unit is specifically designed to safely and easily verify oxygen and other medical gases used in medical and veterinary clinics.
Specific applications typically include spot checking oxygen levels in anesthesia, intensive care, incubators or other variants of respiratory or oxygen therapy.
The MED-19 was designed with the customer in mind, to provide an easy and accurate way to verify oxygen used in medical and veterinary equipment such as anaesthesia machines, intensive care ventilators, incubators or other applications that requires a monitor with or without alarms.
Integral High and Low Audible Alarms are fully configurable by the end user.e stretches 12 ft when fully extended. Inlet pressure is designed for 5 - 30 PSIG (0.34-2 barg) with an atmospheric vent.
