From humble origins providing low-cost, small EEG machines into the field as teaching and therapeutic tools in the 1990’s, we grew to offer complete Neurofeedback as well as assessment solutions in the 2000’s. Our evolution saw us leading the field into evidence-based, database-driven Neurofeedback with QEEG, through the 2010’s with the advent of live sLORETA, brain connectivity, gamma imaging, and the Z-builder approach, we have continued to push the boundaries, with resulting benefits.

Our systems are FDA registered for not only Neurofeedback, but also for clinical EEG, and for our normalizing quantitative EEG software database. There have been uses we could not have anticipated, such as infra-slow training, neuromeditation, Neurofeedback-informed hypnotherapy, and the emergence of pulsed electromagnetic field (pEMF) therapy. We have formed partnerships with leading innovators and producers, helping the field to gain access to combinations of hardware, software, education, and service that have been unprecedented in the industry.

Our Company, BrainMaster Technologies, Inc., one of the fruits of the BrainMaster Project, aims to help put low-cost, effective electroencephalographic (EEG) brainwave monitoring and analysis into the hands of everyone with the interest or need. We provide information and resources on the development and use of small EEG brainwave machines for a variety of uses such as Neurofeedback or EEG biofeedback. Over the years, thousands of people have used this project and the internet to learn about important uses of brainwave technology, Neurofeedback, and EEG biofeedback.

The uses of our systems have included all those anticipated int 1995, incorporating the range from clinical Neurofeedback and assessment, peak-performance, research, meditation, hypnotherapy, brain-controlled interfaces, art performance and music and art therapy, and virtual reality. There have been over 200 peer-reviewed papers published worldwide using our systems, demonstrating clinical safety and effectiveness, as well as providing a solid research foundation. Our motto has been, “make the world a better place today, and be here tomorrow.” To that end, we produce the products that deliver the quality, performance, and service that users expect, and conduct our business in a way that will continue into the next day

Now, in 2020, we look back as well as forward, outlining past milestones, and anticipating future goals.

Our future goals include efficient and flexible systems incorporating Neurofeedback, neuromodulation, and allied educational and therapeutic methods. We see the fields of EEG, QEEG, and evoked potentials merging into integrated systems, and real-time solutions. Looking back and seeing that we are now able to visualize brain activity in real time, there seems to be no limit to what future decades will reveal. We are changing the face of mental health choices, one brain at a time.
