Semi Automatic Suction Machine
The semi automatic suction machine is a custom made machine designed for removing concrete on designated places in the slab, this in order to put e.g. electrical connection boxes, light switches etc. in the slab. The suction machine is equipped with a powerful vacuum system for removing the fresh concrete from the bed. The suction tube from the machine is driven by a CNC servo system, which gives high speed (1 m/s) and accuracy (less than 1 mm.) Through the suction tube the removed concrete will be collected in a special coated waste container, after the job is done the container can be easily removed from the machine to be emptied and cleaned. When the machine is driving it will clean the rail area with water and removes the concrete and water from the rail area to the waste container, the machine is provided with his own water tank.
The machine operating area consists of a ergonomic seat, a operator friendly operating panel and a set of joysticks to operate the CNC suction tube. The operator panel will guide the operator through the working of the machine and will also display all the information needed. The operator panel is also used to program the different wire patterns into the machine.
