Genclis SAS is a CRO mainly working on food samples. The aim of this application is to extract proteins recognized by IgE antibodies from allergic patients. The challenge is to extract protein with the best possible quality. The Precellys Evolution tissue homogenizer extracts high quality proteins in large quantities from dry food samples. Moreover, the capacity to process 6 x 15mL tubes is a real advantage and saves time.

The technology behind the Precellys® Evolution tissue homogenizer from Bertin Instruments is based on over 15 years of expertise in sample preparation. It can be used to homogenize any biological sample, whether animal, human or plant, and irrespective of whether the tissue is hard or soft. Based on the multidirectional movement of the beads in the tubes, 3D bead-beating homogenization is the most efficient and reproducible method in comparison of classical ones (mortar & pestle, sonication, blenders, high pressure homogenizers). The speed can be set to up to 10,000 rotations per minute.
Precellys® Evolution allows you to use six different tube volumes (from 0.3 to 15 ml) and prepare between 1 and 96 tubes at the same time.
