Zeiss Flow - Model 800 -Vascular Blood Flow Fluorescence

ZEISS FLOW 800 is a unique analysis tool generating blood flow dynamics data by identifying detailed vessel blood flow intraoperatively. Transformation of ZEISS INFRARED 800 video data into visual maps and diagrams support fast identification of AVM feeding arteries, nidal vessels and draining veins – providing objective access to speed and sequence of blood flow.
This map employs colors to instantly identify the sequence of blood flow. To enable an accurate identification of vessel blood flow, a continuous color scale is used. Red represents the initial blood inflow, followed by a gradient color scale for subsequent blood flow sequences.
ZEISS FLOW 800 enables blood flow evaluation of specific anatomical regions. The user can freely define which regions are to be evaluated by using either a rectangular shape or a variable shape that automatically adapts to the structure of the vessel.
ICG fluorescence intensity indicates blood flow speed. The intensity diagram function helps to visualize the variation in blood flow over time. Selecting a specific region of interest via pinpoint analysis, ZEISS FLOW 800 generates time graphs that clearly depict blood flow variation over time.
This function enables direct comparison of fluorescence imaging sequences intraoperatively to visualize blood flow changes. No more tedious advancing and rewinding of video sequences is needed to filter out changes. The surgeon is able to easily compare blood flow before and after feeder occlusion in cerebral AVM surgery.
