  • Analysis Principle
    • Phenol - Distillation of Phenol under 145 ℃ and the subsequent reaction of the distillated with alkaline ferricyanide and 4-aminoantipyrine to form a red complex which is measured colorimetrically at 505 nm
    • Cyanide - Converted to cyanogen chloride by reaction with chloramine-T which subsequently reacts with pyridine carboxylic acid to give a blue colored complex. In the case that metallic cyanides have to be assayed, 145℃ distillation stage and 60℃ heating procedure are incorporated measuring at 630 nm
    • Fluorine - Distillated at 145℃ with sulfuric acid and the distillate react with lanthanum-alizarin to from blue complex measured at 630 nm
    • Distilled Ammonia - Distillation Step with 120℃ is required, after distillation, alkaline phenol and hypochlorite react with ammonia to from indophenol blue complex measured at 630 nm
  • Relating Official Method

Korea Water Pollution Process Testing Method, year 2010

  • Patent registered No.  10-0875629 by Air Segmented Continuous Flow Analysis
  • Possible for any combination of two parameters in one system such as TN / TP, TN / Ammonia, TN / Nitrate, TP / Phosphate, Ammonia / Silicate, etc
  • Using single or double channel High Performance Process Spectrophotometer
  • Adopted to worldwide officially approved method ( JIS, EPA, AOAC, KS )
  • Fulfill relatively low detection limit compared to other monitoring instruments
  • Providing appropriate method applicable to both Seawater & Normal water
