AlignRT - Stereotactic Module for SGRT
The Stereotactic Module from Vision RT's AlignRT brand provides clinics the capability to deliver frameless, open-mask Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT/SABR) using Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT) systems. Essential for ensuring the precision required in SRS treatments, this module employs an SRS calibration cube, along with an open-face mask, which reduces patient claustrophobia while maintaining real-time surface monitoring. The system facilitates a variety of quality assurance tests according to TG142 standards for linear accelerators and TG147 for non-radiographic imaging. The advanced calibration tools ensure imaging positioning accuracy across modalities and correct alignment for cranial treatments without requiring a 6-degrees-of-freedom couch. A single phantom solution provided enables daily quality checks, integrating both radiographic and surface imaging accuracy.
AlignRT’s stereotactic calibration module allows clinics to deliver the benefits of frameless, open-mask SRS and SBRT/SABR using SGRT.
To deliver the accuracy required for SRS, both an open-face mask (supplied by various companies) and the SRS calibration cube (supplied by Vision RT) are required. The module enables a range of quality assurance tests – TG142 (linear accelerator) and TG147 (non-radiographic imaging).
Tests include: End-to-end localisation assessment, hidden target testing, localisation displacement accuracy, imaging coordinate coincidence across modalities, imaging positioning/repositioning, laser alignment, Winston-Lutz, couch rotation isocenter accuracy.
